Unlike other nursing jobs, Certified Nursing Assistants are not required to hold a college degree. However, training is required resulting in a postsecondary non-degree certificate or diploma. As a CNA you have the possibility of earning a salary of up to $45/h*.

• Be in good physical health.
• Have a high-school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from a Certified Nursing Assistant School in Pennsylvania.
• Pass the State Exam.
• Be a Certified CNA.
• Pass a criminal background check and register fingerprints.
• One year of experience is recommended.
